Jubilee Weekend Comments

As the nation celebrated on the historic occasion of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee we thought we would share with you some of the much appreciated comments we received:

Please pass my thanks on to George Junior and his team for putting on another fantastic evening at the Club. Unfortunately the heavens opened, which meant the rides weren’t as busy as we would have liked, but there were a brave few that ventured out!

I genuinely appreciated their co-operation, the dress (they looked very smart!), and the quick clear up experienced on the fairground side that night,

Hi All

I am sending this message out to all of you that helped out with the Queens Diamond Jubilee  event on Monday, from the planning to the delivery of the event.

I fully appreciate that everyone gave up their bank holiday to assist with the event and from the numbers in attendance it was fully worth it

This may be the last event that I  organised on behalf of the parks team but it was certainly  a memorable one there were so many happy faces both from parents and children. the day was enjoyed by the whole community. when I receive the photos I will share them with everyone so you can see how successful it was

and I feel this was partnership working at its best

Dear George,

Thank you very much for your contribution to the Parade and Party in the Park which was organised by Sudbury Town Residents Association (STRA).  We are most grateful.

Thank you again and hopefully we can put on another festival next year with your help and support.  It has been a very big learning curve for me.
