St Patrick's Day, Willesden Green

From: March 17th, 2010
To: March 17th, 2010

For St Patrick's Day Willesden Green will turn green! Once again we are delighted to bring our children's attractions to Willesden Green in the heart of Brent, an area with strong links to the Irish Community in London, to celebrate St Patrick's Day on March 17th.

There has been a long standing tradition in Brent of celebrating the life of the many and varied communities who live there, with Eid, Diwali, Fireworks Night, Christmas and more besides, and St Patrick's Day stands alongside these.

We confess we have once cheated slightly by showing the St Patrick's Day Parade from New York rather than from New Willesden Green Library Centre, but the point is still the same and it is great fun for all. Also we would have no objection to New York showing photos of our fun fairground attractions in north London on their website.

Hampton Court Easter Fair

From: April 2nd, 2010
To: April 6th, 2010

Annual wonderful Easter Fair at historic site. Hope you like the photo, because do not hedge your bets, our fair is A Mazeing! As is this at the Palace over the road.

Historic Annual Fair at wonderful Hampton Court Palace. For more information on this magnificent event visit www.hamptoncourtfunfair.com. This fair can trace it's history back over 120 years to a time when a fairground operator saved the life of the son of the Keeper of the Palace by jumping in the Thames and stopping him drowning. That act of bravery has allowed you all to come and visit Hampton Court, and whilst King Henry VIII will not be there with his Block and Axe stall, and we cannot recreate the Victorian Games because most of them would be illegal and even more immoral, this is still a lot of fun at London's favourite value for money fair.

We have a special Charity Tuesday on April 6th where you can buy a wristband for only £2 and then enjoy all the rides for half price so giving great value for money. All profits from the wristbands will go to the Historic Royal Palaces Fund to support their membership scheme and keep access to the historic buildings available for those on low income.

Make a day of this, and visit the Palace, enjoy local shops and cafes, and have a few hours at the fair in the best part of London, in the shadow of this historic venue. It is an honour for us to be here, and we look forward to welcoming you.
